App Notes
The App LogMSSQL tranfers data from the datalogger to a remote Microsoft SQL-Server. Using the App data can be stored in a Microsoft SQL-Server database for analysis and archiving purposes.
The Microsoft SQL-Server versions 2008 and 2012 are supported.
The data transfer is reliable by transfering all data since the last successful data transfer. Connectivity and Microsoft SQL-Server availability problems, e.g. downtimes for maintenance, are handled robust.
The storage of measurement errors and connectivity setting can be adjusted in a wide range.
The Microsoft SQL-Server database setup is supported by a SQL script that is generated and executed on the Microsoft SQL-Server.
To setup connection initially a connectivity test can be performed.
To etablish a connection to the remote MySQL server the network must allow TCP/IP connections with port 1433 by default. The app requires a datalogger App to be installed.
